About Me – Bullnose Garage

Hey there, I’m Ed!
Welcome to Bullnose Garage. If you’re here, chances are you share the same passion I do for classic Ford trucks, especially the 1980-1986 Bullnose models. I’m based out of New Mexico, where I live with my wonderful wife, two kids, and our loyal dog. During the day, I work in IT and cybersecurity, but when I’m off the clock, you’ll usually find me tinkering with these trucks. Bullnose Garage is where I channel that passion, and I’m thrilled to share it with you.
The Journey to Bullnose Garage
My journey into Bullnose Ford trucks wasn’t planned—it just kind of happened. What began as a side hobby quickly grew into a full-fledged passion. I’ve always been the kind of guy who dives deep into research, and I love figuring things out. It didn’t take long before I realized that I wanted to share what I was learning, and that’s when Bullnose Garage was born.
In September 2020 I found myself missing the creative aspects of my work on site at my IT programming job. I transitioned to a more support-oriented role in IT due to the new work-from-home culture. I craved a project that would allow me to be hands-on and innovative. That’s when the idea for the Bullnose Garage YouTube channel came to life. What started as a creative outlet has turned into a thriving community of like-minded truck enthusiasts.
My Expertise and What I Offer Here
Now, I’m no professional mechanic, but I’ve logged plenty of hours under the hood of my 1985 F150 shortbed. I’ve also spent countless hours scouring Google, Reddit, and YouTube for every bit of Bullnose information I could find. What sets Bullnose Garage apart is the way I compile and share this knowledge, making it easy for anyone to understand and use.
While I’m naturally a quiet and reserved guy, I feel right at home in front of a camera. The whole process of making videos—researching, scriptwriting, filming, and editing—really clicks with me. It’s a passion that combines all my interests, and I genuinely enjoy every step of the way. My content is all about practical advice that’s grounded in real-world experience. I believe that with a little bit of effort, every problem has a solution, especially when it comes to these trucks.
The Bullnose Garage Community
One of the most rewarding parts of this journey has been connecting with so many of you. Through my YouTube channel, website, and even the Bullnose Ford subreddit, I’ve met a fantastic community of enthusiasts. It’s been a blast to share my experiences, and I’m committed to helping this community grow.
If you’re working on a Bullnose project, I’d love to hear from you. Whether you need some advice, want to show off your progress, or just want to chat about these trucks, Bullnose Garage is here for you. I’m constantly learning, and I’m excited to bring you along on this journey.
My Vision for Bullnose Garage
Looking ahead, I have big plans for both my YouTube channel and the BullnoseGarage.com website. I want these platforms to become one of the go-to resources for anyone working on a Bullnose Ford truck. That means expanding the content to include more detailed technical guides, product reviews, and even broader automotive topics.
My goal is to make Bullnose Garage a place where you can find everything you need to know about these classic trucks, whether you’re a seasoned mechanic or a weekend warrior like me.
A Personal Touch
Running Bullnose Garage has given me the chance to share my personal journey with you. My 1985 F150 shortbed has been a labor of love, with projects ranging from engine swaps to suspension upgrades. Living in New Mexico, where the wide-open spaces and rugged terrain perfectly match the reliability of these trucks, has only deepened my appreciation for them.
Whether I’m out on the road with my family or wrenching in the garage, there’s always something new to learn. And as I continue to grow, I’m excited to share it all with you.
Trust and Integrity
When it comes to technical advice, trust is everything. I know there’s a lot of information out there, and it can be tough to sort through. That’s why I’m always upfront and honest. If I don’t know something, I’ll tell you. But you can bet I’ll do everything I can to find the answer.
I’m not here to sell you on anything except the joy of working on these classic trucks. I don’t believe in cutting corners, and I won’t recommend a product or solution unless I’ve tested it or looked it over myself and am confident in its quality. My aim is to provide you with reliable, no-nonsense advice that you can count on.
The Future of Bullnose Garage
As I continue to grow Bullnose Garage, I’m excited about the possibilities that lie ahead. Whether it’s diving into more complex projects, exploring new topics, or simply connecting with more of you out there who share this passion, I’m all in. My dream is to turn Bullnose Garage into a thriving community and a trusted resource for everything Bullnose-related.
I’m also committed to giving back to the community that has given me so much. Whether it’s through tutorials, live Q&A sessions, or just being available to help out when someone’s stuck on a project, I want to make sure that Bullnose Garage is more than just a website or a YouTube channel. I want it to be a place where people come together to share knowledge, learn, and grow.
